Best known for starring as Carmen Cortez in Robert Rodriguez’s original Spy Kids trilogy (she also reprised the role for an appearance in the recent Spy Kids: All the Time in the World), Alexa Vega will be making an appearance as KillJoy in the writer/director’s upcoming Machete Kills and, thanks to the actress’ Instagram account, we have a revealing first look at her character.

In the sequel, ex-federale Machete (Danny Trejo) is recruited by the U.S. government to stop an arms dealer (Mel Gibson) from launching a deadly missile. Michelle Rodriguez, Demian Bichir, Amber Heard, Sofia Vergara, Zoe Saldana and Charlie Sheen also star.
