Season One of Chopper Sets Air Date

Starring Tyler Mane and Andrew Bryniarski

Dilemma has completed principal photography on its first season of the horror series Chopper, featuring Tyler Mane and Andrew Bryniarski. Look at that, modern Michael Myers and Leatherface teaming up!

Chopper will launch independently via online platforms including YouTube and Blip.tv starting October 18 as an eight-episode, two-week-long run leading up to Halloween.

Series writer/producer/director J.C. Christofilis also gathered Victor Newmark (Sons of Anarchy), Ruth “Ruthless” Pineda, ex-Biohazard singer Evan Seinfeld, comedian Quinn Dahle and MMA legend John Lewis- alongside special appearances from heavy metal bands including Unearth, Straight Line Stitch and Machine Head – for Chopper.

Described as a contemporary spin on the timeless Sleepy Hollow mythology, the series revolves around a headless outlaw biker seeking vengeance in the afterlife by killing mortal sinners.

True horror and heavy metal aficionados will also have an opportunity to further immerse themselves into the overall Chopper experience by joining Chopper’s fan club, hosted on the crowd-funding website Kickstarter.

J.C. Christofilis added, “We did our research and concluded that Kickstarter was the most robust, off-the-shelf platform capable of building a like-minded, passionate community of ‘super-fans’ around a cool, creative project like Chopper.” Fans who pledge their support will be rewarded with a range of memorabilia and props from Season 1 and will even have the opportunity to be immortalized as a murder victim within evolving storylines that unfold closer to Halloween.
