Film school documentary shoot goes bad
A slasher film done in the faux documentary style? Sure, it was done with Behind the Mask, but some indie filmmakers are about to tackle the format with RedFall, from Chris O’Brocki and M.T. Smith.
Shooting is expected to begin soon in Maryland.
RedFall follows a group of young college students making a documentary for their film school class about the bizarre and unexplained dead bodies that keep popping up in their neighboring county. After traveling to the nearby country to capture their footage, they accidentally film a mysterious man dumping a body in the woods. Scared, the group must decide quickly what to do with their footage. Unfortunately, before they can do anything, this mysterious man shows up to silence them.
OâBrocki will star with Chris Clark, Jemma McDime, and Erin Chaney.
Smith is also set to direct the film while also portraying “The Ghost,” the film’s mysterious serial killer.
