A software engineer goes bonkers
Director Kit Ryan’s feature debut, Botched, was a bloody tale thick with dark comedy and featured actors Stephen Dorff, Sean Pertwee and Jamie Murray. It took home the Best Feature prize at the New York City Horror Film Festival in 2007 and was subsequently released direct-to-DVD here in the States a few years back, so what has Ryan been up to since then?
Apparently he’s in development on Dementamania and we’ve got the story details:
When a software engineer gets stung by a mysterious bug, it unlocks the door to a secret world inside his head, causing nightmarish fantasies and vivid hallucinations. As the bite rash spreads over his entire body, reality begins drifting further and further away, and the strange effects are felt by everyone around him.
