Distributor steps up to acquire slasher pic
IFC Films has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to Dick Maas’ Saint.
Expect it to hit VOD and enjoy a limited theatrical run.
The slasher film re-imagines jolly old Saint Nick as a murderous bishop fulfilling a grisly prophecy under the December full moon. Saint follows local teen Frank (Egbert Jan Weeber Weeber) as he sets out on a bloody, high-energy battle to save Amsterdam from the wrathful “Sinterklaas” and his minions.
