Vincent and Ida are back!
Okay, so it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing a Motel Hell remake any time soon. But there’s always another medium that can explore the property.
MGM is teaming up with IDW publishing for “Motel Hell” a re-imagining of the ’80s cult classic written by Matt Nixon and featuring art by Chris Moreno and Tim Bradstreet. The comic will fall under IDW’s MGM Drive-In Theater banner and my mind is already excited about the various possible titles that IDW and MGM could explore.
The 32-page comic hits stands this October. Here’s the IDW plot breakdown: Welcome back to America’s favorite cinematic psycho siblings, Vincent & Ida Smith as these two insane farmers recruit some new prospective “crops” for their special garden. A group of wine snobs are flown into to their Napa Valley winery for the time, as in last, of their lives!
