Playing Talbot’s estranged father
We’ve seen Talbot. Hell, we’ve seen his hirsute counterpart. Until now, however, we’ve never seen Anthony Hopkins, as Larry Talbot’s pop. Empire is hosting your first look at the former Hannibal in Universal’s remake of The Wolfman, directed by Joe Johnton. Benicio Del Toro stars as the titular tortured soul, he’s joined by Hugo Weaving and Emily Blunt. The film hits theaters April 3, 2009.
