The recent episode showcased Ryan Paevey’s Cassius Faison suffering a brutal fate on General Hospital. Before that, he reached Wyndemere to rescue Carly and to stop Cullum from taking the cold fusion reactor off the island. A violent fight broke out on the docks of Spoon Island. Before things took a deadly turn for Cassius, Cullum revealed his sinister plan to cover his tracks by pinning everything on him and Sidwell.

Is Ryan Paevey’s Cassius really dead on General Hospital?
Paevey’s Cassius is shot in the chest by Cullum, which leads to his collapse on the ground. While he appears to be dead, neither the show nor the actor has officially confirmed it.
One of Cullum’s men nearly killed Carly, but Cassius arrived just in time to save the day. He gave her the key code to the cell holding Josslyn and his mother, Obrecht, so she could release them. He then moved near the docks where Cullum and his men were busy getting the reactor away from the island. He attempted to shoot Cullum but missed, which led to a violent fight breaking out on the island.
After Carly released Josslyn, Cassius advised them to retreat. However, Josslyn didn’t listen to him and chased an escaping Cullum. During her chase, one of Cullum’s loyal agents shot her down. Cassius then pulled the trigger on the person who harmed Josslyn before Cullum confronted him. Cullum pinned down Cassius and kicked away his weapon, confessing how he would justify his murder. He revealed that he would tell the WSB that Cassius and Sidwell were trying to escape with the weapon, so he had no option but to shoot the former. He said he would attribute this killing to his dedicated responsibilities.
Cullum pulled the trigger and shot Cassius in the chest. He soon heard a helicopter approaching, which belonged to WSB leader Z, so he turned around. However, Josslyn, despite being extremely wounded, managed to pick up a shotgun and end Cullum’s story.
