General Hospital Fans Pick Who the Better Mob Boss Is Between Sonny & Sidwell

General Hospital fans recently started a discussion about who the better mob boss was in Port Charles between Sonny and Sidwell. However, it seemed like this debate was rather one-sided, as almost all fans picked the same way. While Sidwell may have some really evil deeds to his name, Sonny is a fan-favorite who has stayed on for a long time in the show and continues to impress fans around the world.

General Hospital fans have been admirers of Sonny for a very long time, and a recent debate just proved it once again. One fan reposted an image on General Hospital Fans – Official, which posed the question “Who is the better mob boss, Sonny or Sidwell?” The user wrote along with the post, “Sonny 100% Better.”

Many fans had exactly the same response to this. “Come on Sidwell is not a Mob Boss he’s a Serial Killer and he’s crazy. Sonny is a Mob Boss he doesn’t kill innocent people just because there in his way so in my opinion it’s Sonny,” one fan wrote. “Sidwell could Never be better than Sonny.” Yet another user wrote, “This is an offensive question. Of COURSE Sonny.”

It seemed that all the fans had the same answer to the question, giving a glimpse at the popularity that Sonny boasts among the General Hospital loyals.

The only comment that still favored Sidwell, read, “I like Sonny better, but Sidwell is ruthless so he’s probably a better mob boss. Having a heart like Sonny doesn’t work in that business.” However, even for this user, Sonny was clearly the favorite.

Sonny Corinthos made his Port Charles debut on August 13, 1993, and has since remained a prominent character on the soap opera.
