Carly and Valentin make a decision

Carly informs Valentin that Lucas knows Sidwell is up to something and that he’s risking his life by being there. She wants to share their plans with Lucas, but Valentin advises against it. He says that the only way to save Joss and Lucas is to destroy both Jack and Sidwell. When the time comes, she will tell Lucas, but for now, they decide to stick to their plans.

Cody’s new perspective

Cody invites Molly to meet and discuss her book. He admits that he loved her writing and encouraged her to publish it. Molly is impressed that he finished reading her book and that Cody has joined a book club.

Dante is desperate

Dante meets Liz at the hospital and asks her about the time Willow was staying with her and the day Michael visited. He’s trying to find some evidence to solve the case since it’s causing a lot of problems at the Quartermaine mansion, but Liz doesn’t have anything to offer. She says that maybe some things can’t be solved.

Dante thanks her and says he’ll pay her back for the advice. Liz finds it ridiculous and tells him to just let it go. However, he murmurs to himself that he doesn’t want to and smiles at her as she walks away.

Chase makes a promise

Chase continues to defend his actions, saying that Michael can’t get away. But Brook Lynn remarks that he’s starting to sound like a vigilante rather than a cop. He notes how cruel Michael was in keeping his kids away from their mother. However, after a long conversation, Chase promises Brook Lynn that he’ll focus on adopting the baby.

Hope amid chaos

Jason and Britt meet at the cabin and share details of their encounters with Cullum. Britt also talks about the project and that Lucas is trying to get the medicine. Jason isn’t happy about risking Lucas’s life, but Britt sees no other way. He reassures her that they’ll figure out a way to keep her alive. She finds comfort in his words and is hopeful.

Gio gets a surprise

Emma shows up at Gio’s place while he’s looking for flights to California. They embrace, and she updates him on her trip to France with her mother. Since Anna was still in a manic state, the doctors didn’t let them see her. Emma wanted to stay back, but her mother convinced her to return. Gio and Emma confess their love and kiss.
