It’s been months since General Hospital began the “Who Shot Drew?” storyline, and no resolution seems to have been provided yet. However, following recent revelations, fans believe that the storyline could be coming to a close. And so, viewers have taken to social media to express their relief about the possible closure.
General Hospital fans don’t care who shot Drew
On General Hospital’s September 2 episode, an unknown person shot Drew twice, marking the beginning of the storyline. With a stroke of luck, the Congressman survived the attack. However, it has been over three months, and the culprit has still not been identified. While there have been suspects like Willow, Michael, Portia, and Curtis, there has been no definitive answer.
Over the last few weeks, fans have expressed how the storyline is dragged out and wondered when it would end. Fortunately, recent episodes have moved at a faster pace, making fans believe that the storyline could finally be approaching its end. Fans have taken the opportunity to express their opinions on the matter.
A user on the show’s Facebook page wrote, “Aren’t y’all happy who shot Drew storyline about to be wrap up? I know I am.” The post has garnered a lot of attention, with other fans chipping in with their responses.
One fan wrote, “I do believe that every single General viewer would say YES END THIS never ending storyline. No one cares who shot Drew.” Meanwhile, another user replied, “Me too. I think Willow and Michael know who shot Drew. I still would like to see Willow getting in trouble for tampering with Daisy because she’s mentally unstable.”
However, other users pointed out that the show has yet to offer a resolution. A user commented, “Just a reminder, we still don’t know who shot him. Selena Woo did not send anyone to do it because Curtis never paid her. She certainly wouldn’t do it for free!! So we still don’t know who shot Drew!”
Quite recently, Curtis became the main suspect for shooting Drew. While he wanted Drew dead, he revealed to Jordan that he couldn’t go through with it. It is yet to be seen if he was lying or telling the truth. And with the story shifting towards Valentin escaping the authorities, is the Drew storyline really entering the final act?
