When Is Him’s Digital & Streaming Release Date?

The Jordan Peele-produced sports horror film, Him, was recently released in theaters, and fans are already asking about its digital and streaming release dates. While it is still quite early to get an exact date for when the film will be available to watch at home, an estimate can be made based on previous trends.

When will Him get its digital release date?

Him premiered in theaters on September 19, 2025. Given the history of Universal Pictures releases, it should not be long before Him becomes available on digital platforms for rent and purchase.

Usually, films from Universal Pictures become available on digital platforms within two to three weeks of the theatrical release. This means that Him could be available for purchase or rental by the first week of October. The most probable dates are October 7 or October 14.

Here’s when Him could be released on streaming

As for the streaming release, this may take a lot longer than the digital release. As a Universal Pictures production, Him will release on the NBCUniversal streaming platform, Peacock. Taking into account the history of previous releases, it could take over 60-90 days before Him is available on streaming.

As per the usual deal, the movie will likely first stream on Peacock. It may then become available on Prime Video for streaming after four months. If the movie follows this timeline, it could arrive on Peacock in December 2025 or January 2026. A Prime Video release would likely follow in April or May 2026.

Either way, it won’t be long before fans have the option of watching the movie at home.

Him follows a rising quarterback who is trained by a mysterious, nearly retired professional.

The synopsis for the film reads, “Cameron Cade is a rising quarterback who suffers a potentially career-ending injury after being attacked by an unhinged fan. Just when all seems lost, Cam receives a lifeline when his hero, Isaiah White, offers to train him at an isolated compound. However, as the training accelerates, Isaiah’s charisma turns into something darker, sending Cam down a disorienting rabbit hole that may cost him more than he ever bargained for.” It stars Marlon Wayans, Tyriq Withers, Julia Fox, and Tim Heidecker, among others.

Him is currently playing in theaters.
