Will Ferrell’s latest comedy series, The Hawk, is continuing its strong run on Netflix. According to FlixPatrol, the series ranked No. 2 on Netflix’s Top 10 TV Shows chart in the United States on July 22, 2026. The show outperformed several popular titles, including The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, Little House on the Prairie, I Will Find You, Quarterback, and Worst Neighbor Ever.
Created by Ferrell, Harper Steele, and Chris Henchy, The Hawk premiered on Netflix on July 16, 2026. The comedy series consists of ten episodes, all of which were released simultaneously. The series follows Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins, a past-his-prime golfer who is trying to recapture his magic late in his career, refusing to believe he is anything other than one stroke away from golf’s greatest comeback.
While those closest to him, including his ex-wife Stacy and his son Lance, believe his time in professional golf has come to an end, Lonnie refuses to step away from competition. He remains focused on winning the one major championship he needs to complete golf’s career Grand Slam.
The series stars Ferrell as Lonnie Hawkins alongside Molly Shannon as Stacy. The cast also includes Jimmy Tatro as Lance, Fortune Feimster as Sam, Chris Parnell as Anton, and Katelyn Tarver as Natalie, among others.
