General Hospital Fans Think Joss & Vaughn Had No Chemistry in Steamy Scene

Josslyn and Vaughn‘s latest steamy scene in a recent episode of General Hospital has left the internet divided. For context, the duo is posing as a newlywed couple, Mr. and Mrs. Nash, for their undercover mission at Five Poppies in Croatia. While on a mission, Vaughn was attacked by a mysterious man. Thankfully, Joss came to his rescue, and together they dealt with the situation. After this intense team effort, their professional bond and comfort talk instantly translated into something more personal, leading to their lovemaking.

Here’s what fans have to say about the scene.

Fans took to social media to express their interesting thoughts on what they think about Joss and Vaughn’s chemistry and the very unexpected intimate scene. Some fans liked how the makers are steadily taking a romantic turn in their storyline. They also believe that their love story could likely be a slow burn. Appreciating their striking chemistry, one fan wrote, “I love it, love her job, i love them as partners and i hope especially in this field they are together.”

On the contrary, some think that though the scene was good, the duo seemingly lacked chemistry. “I liked the shower scene, but I agree, no chemistry,” one added. A few also think that their chemistry is currently based on intense emotions and attraction, which won’t last long. They think that when challenges in their love story arise, they might struggle to deal with them, as their connection isn’t that strong. Another user mentioned sensing chemistry before saying, “Yeah I thought for months they had chemistry until that scene…ah no.”

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Joss’s portrayer, Eden McCoy, had earlier revealed her perspective on the steamy scene. She said, “Vaughn opened up that door with going in for the kiss and him comforting her. She wanted connection, I suppose, and to get out of the headspace she was previously in. But clearly, neither one of them was thinking about what would happen after, or the consequences of it.” She noted that the way the unplanned intimate moment took place, it was “a very human moment.”
