Kai Cenat Twitch Account Hack & Ban Explained

Popular streamer Kai Cenat‘s Twitch account fell victim to a security breach, allegedly by the same hacker who previously got hold of his TikTok profile. Fans discovered the intrusion after spotting altered profile images and a hacker’s message in Cenat’s bio. While users can now access Cenat’s Twitch profile, none of his previous videos appear on the platform.

What happened to Kai Cenat’s Twitch account?

On April 3, Kai Cenat‘s Twitch account was reportedly hacked. The YouTuber’s Twitch account appeared with a display photo that read “SAVA.” The hacker had also changed Cenat’s bio with a message that said, “Got my discord suspended Mr. Cenat, this is what you get” (via Dexerto).

Worried fans took to social media to share the news. Along with the new profile image, fans also noticed that there is no video content available on Cenat’s Twitch account. The links in the content creator’s Twitch profile still go to his Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) profiles.

This isn’t the first time that hackers got access to Cenat’s social media. Previously, the same hacker accessed his TikTok account in February while Cenat was doing his Batman streamathon. The profile went back to normal within a couple of hours.

The 23-year-old social media personality has not responded to any of the fans’ queries yet. One fan posted on X, “Damn, Kai would be freaking out right now.” Another quipped, “Hackers acting like anime villains now.”

As there are no more videos of Cenat on Twitch, many users have also wondered if the streamer is facing a ban on the platform. However, fans can access his page without the usual “suspended” message appearing on his profile, which means it could be the hacker who has deleted his content.

Cenat dominates Twitch as the fourth most-followed and top-subscribed streamer of the platform with 16.8 million followers. The creator’s remarkable rise to the top earned him “Streamer of the Year” and “Best Just Chatting Streamer” at the 2024 Streamer Awards, alongside a nomination for “Best Streamed Event.” Along with many awards, Rolling Stone listed the social media star at number 1 on their “25 Most Influential Creators of 2024” list in August last year.
