The chapter continues with Mars inside Punk Records. Mars is surprised to see Vegapunk’s head inside a huge tank. He destroys the Haishin Den Den Mushi (Transponder Snail), but it ends up being fake and he can’t find the real one.
People all over the world are reacting to Vegapunk’s message. The countdown finishes and his message starts. Meanwhile, the Gorosei (Five Elders) wonder what Vegapunk’s message is about. Mars thinks it’s related to getting revenge for Clover and Ohara.
Sanji arrives just in time to attack Nusjuro. Oimo and Kashii hold Nusjuro, while Bonney steps on him. Vegapunk says he has to die because of two great sins he committed, resulting in getting captured or murdered. This is why he programmed the broadcast to start upon his death.
Everyone’s surprised or confused by his death. Saturn goes after Usopp’s group. Robin recognizes his voice from the Ohara incident. The Straw Hats proceed to fight Saturn.
The Gorosei continue talking. Mars wants to destroy the Power Plant, but Saturn advises against it. While they don’t care about the people potentially getting wiped out, Topman’s concern is that no one would be capable of creating another Mother Flame.
Vegapunk’s message continues. He tells everyone that the world is going to sink into the sea.
The series will be on break next week because of the Golden Week holidays.
Vegapunk’s revelation has a lot of implications for other things in the story, such as Water 7, Noah, and why Mary Geoise is located at the very top of the Red Line. Things are becoming more and more intriguing and exciting.
