Who is Nusjuro in One Piece?
Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro is part of the Gorosei (Five Elders). He has the title Warrior God of Finance.
He looks about middle-aged with a bald head and doesn’t have any facial hair, unlike the other Gorosei. His usual clothing is also different compared to the others, who wear suits. Nusjuro wears white robe-like clothing, resembling the uniform used for Japanese martial arts training.
The Gorosei are some of the most powerful individuals in the One Piece universe. Not only are they the highest-ranking authority of the World Government, but they’re also the highest-ranking Celestial Dragons/World Nobles.
Nusjuro Devil Fruit abilities and powers
Nusjuro has a Mythical Zoan-type Bakotsu Devil Fruit. He can change into a bakotsu (bird yokai with the body of a snake) and a hybrid of a bakotsu and a human.
Just like the other Gorosei, Nusjuro is highly likely to have awakened his Devil Fruit abilities. This is visible through the black smoke around his body when he’s transformed.
Nusjuro has incredible speed for both his Beast and Human-Beast forms. He quickly went around Egghead and got rid of half the Pacifistas, and some of the Marines didn’t even notice him because of his speed. Nusjuro also has the power to make ice, making it go through his sword so he can freeze his opponents. His weapon is a long katana, making him a highly skilled swordsman.
Since he’s one of the Gorosei, he possesses overwhelming Haki. We see this during his arrival at Egghead with the other Gorosei, where they showed up with a burst of Haki. Nusjuro also has Armament and Observation Haki, as seen in his ability to imbue his sword and quickly locate the Pacifistas around the island.
