Based on the namesake Naver webtoon by Park Ji-dok, Chicken Nugget is a comedy mystery series. Choi Min-ah, the daughter of the president of All Machines, turns into a chicken nugget after stepping into a mysterious machine she finds in her father’s company. This sends Min-ah’s father Choi Sun-man and his intern Ko Baek-joong on an epic adventure to turn the girl back into her original form. The 10-episode season 1 premiered on Netflix on March 15, 2024. Is there a Chicken Nugget Season 2 release date?
There is no Chicken Nugget Season 2 release date as the show wraps up its narrative by the end of the last episode of Season 1.
Netflix officially designates Chicken Nugget as a limited series, so the second season will probably not happen. Moreover, in the span of 10 episodes, the series seems to adapt the entirety of Park Ji-dok’s source material.
In the final episode, Go Baek-Joong (For those who haven’t watched the series – spoilers ahead) travels to the past right when Min-ah enters her father’s workplace with a box of chicken nuggets. Both Baek-joong and Sun-man are there, but neither has any idea about what is about to happen. Because of Baek-Joong’s time travel, he erased the following five decades for everyone in the world.
This is as open an ending as it can get. However, it’s also the perfect place to end the series and leave the rest to the viewers’ imagination.

Why Chicken Nugget Season 2 might not be happening
