Jack Sweeney, a programmer in his early 20s became popular for tracking celebrity jets. He launched his own “Ground Control” website that provides aircraft tracking analysis. It links people to “TheAirTraffic”, which is a data aggregator for flight information. Anyone can use it to track any flight and get live updates on it.
Sweeney initially became popular by tracking Elon Musk’s Private jet using the ADS-B Exchange website. Following that, he launched his own company and gained even more popularity tracking Taylor Swift’s private jets, N898TS and N621MM, and posting the data on social media.
Ground Control also allows people to access the data to track many other celebrity jets including Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Kylie Jenner, and more.
