On July 21, it was reported that the Godzilla vs. Kong star, Kaylee Hottle, was involved in a fatal speeding car crash. She was a passenger in the vehicle, and the driver was taken under investigation.

Recent reports by TMZ revealed that alcohol impairment was ruled out for the 19-year-old driver. However, they are awaiting the drug test results.

Moreover, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office added that the driver’s criminal charges are still being discussed, saying, “That is still under investigation.”

Previously, it was reported that the 18-year-old star was riding in a 1995 Honda Accord. It was also reported that she passed away due to multiple blunt force injuries. The car veered off a Maryland road and slammed into a roadside ditch.

The person behind the wheel was Hottle’s friend, and it was stated that she was visiting them for the weekend. The driver survived with no life-threatening injuries, and the death was ruled an accident following an initial autopsy.

The news of the actress’ death was confirmed by her father, Joshua Hottle, in a 23-minute-long social media live stream. In the stream, he reported that his daughter was pronounced dead as her heart stopped on the way to the hospital.
