As they grew, Simmons began working with DJs early, and Daniels became obsessed with comic books. The pair met Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell on the streets of Hollis in Queens. Their cultural influence shattered racial stereotypes, making them fashionable international stars in the 1980s. However, following life-altering events and challenges, including Jam Master Jay’s murder, Rev Run, and DMC, reunite to tell their tale about their legacy in music.
The series is produced by Believe Entertainment Group and features some big names from the rap industry like Ice Cube, Ice-T, Eminem, Tom Morello, MC Lyte, and Big Daddy Kane, to name a few.
