With The Marvels approaching its release, the hype for the film is finally increasing due to the latest rumor about cameos in the movie. Fans are wondering if Kelsey Grammer is returning as Beast in The Marvels. Here’s all you need to know about the possibility of his appearance in the film.
Will Kelsey Grammer return as Beast in The Marvels?
Kelsey Grammer is not confirmed to return as Hank McCoy, aka Beast, in The Marvels.
Grace Randolph and CanWeGetSomeToast tweeted about The Marvels getting a changed ending to add a last-minute surprise into the film after its reshoots. This scoop was corroborated by another reputable source, Daniel RPK/Daniel Richtman, who tweeted the following:
His tweet led people to believe that it could be Kelsey Grammer who was added to the film as Beast. With many past X-Men characters, including Wolverine, Gambit, and others rumored to return in Deadpool 3, there is a possibility for Grammer’s Beast to be back in the MCU as well.
He fits Daniel RPK’s description of a perfectly cast character who didn’t get to do justice to his character in a past movie (X-Men: The Last Stand). Furthermore, Grammer also lightheartedly threatened to boycott Disneyland in 2022, if he didn’t get to return as Beast.
So, considering all possibilities, many fans replied to Daniel RPK hoping that it’s Grammer’s Beast who will make a comeback in The Marvels. After all, Beast also joins S.W.O.R.D. in the comics, and he could be a part of S.W.O.R.D. or S.A.B.E.R.
But, as per Randolph, the latest surprise from The Marvels hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Who else could cameo in The Marvels?
While nothing is confirmed, the likes of Maria Rambeau, Kate Bishop, or a wild card such as Valkyrie are speculated to cameo in The Marvels.
Lashana Lynch’s Maria Rambeau could have a cameo in the upcoming Captain Marvel sequel. A flashback sequence involving her could allow Carol and Monica to bond. Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop could show up to meet Kamala Khan and finally set up the Young Avengers.
Thinking outside the box, however, The Marvels could even include a cameo from Rogue to establish the mutants further or bring certain old rumors to life with Valkyrie.
The film hits theaters on November 10, 2023.
