The 2015 sci-fi movie Project Almanac is heading to Paramount Plus as part of the schedule for June 26-July 2.
On Monday, June 26, Paramount Plus subscribers can watch Project Almanac on their favorite streamer. Directed by Dean Israelite, the movie is presented in a found footage style. It follows a group of high school students who discover blueprints for a time machine and decide to build it. They use the time machine to change their personal lives, but they soon realize that their actions have consequences, and they must find a way to fix the timeline before it’s too late. The cast includes Jonny Weston, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Sam Lerner, Allen Evangelista, Virginia Gardner, and Amy Landecker.
And speaking of time machines, fans can also watch Hot Tub Time Machine 2 starting Friday, June 30. A sequel to the 2010 comedy, it sees Lou (Rob Corddry), Nick (Craig Robinson), and Jacob (Clark Duke) discover that their altered futures are not as desirable as they had hoped. To fix their lives, they travel back in time again using the hot tub time machine. Hot Tub Time Machine 2 wasn’t as successful as its predecessor, possibly also because of the absence of John Cusack, who didn’t return as Adam except for a cameo in the unrated version.
At the moment of writing, Paramount Plus hasn’t announced its July lineup. Updates will follow as soon as possible.
