A new Nintendo Indie World Showcase took place today, April 17, 2024. Viewers were treated to a plethora of upcoming indie games for the Nintendo Switch, most of which are due to launch in 2024. There were some expected updates, a couple of surprises, and even shadow-dropped games.
We’ve compiled all of the announcements from the event below.
Nintendo Switch games announced at Nintendo Indie World Showcase
- Little Kitty, Big City is coming to Nintendo Switch on May 9. Preorders are available today.
- Yars Rising, a side-scrolling action-adventure exploration version of Yars’ Revenge, was announced for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Atari VCS.
- Refind Self: The Personality Test Game will be a timed Nintendo Switch console exclusive this summer.
- Sticky Business, a sticker shop simulation game, was released on Switch today alongside its Plan With Me DLC.
- Action platformer Antonblast will be released on November 12, 2024. A demo is available today.
- Valley Peaks, a first-person rock-climbing platformer, will be released for Nintendo Switch later this year.
- The non-linear puzzle game Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is coming to Nintendo Switch on May 16.
- Europa, a 3D action platformer set on the moon Europa, is coming to Nintendo Switch later this year. A demo is available today.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate will be a timed console exclusive for Nintendo Switch this July.
- Cat Quest III will be released on August 8, 2024. Preorders and a demo will be available today.
- Casual embroidery puzzle game stitch. was released on Nintendo Switch today.
- BZZZT, a fast-paced platformer, will arrive on Nintendo Switch this summer.
- SCHiM, a 3D platformer that focuses on light and shadow, will be released for Switch on July 18.
- Animal Well, an action-adventure game set in a dense labyrinth, is coming to Switch on May 9.
- Narrative adventure Duck Detective: The Secret Salami arrives on Switch on May 23.
- Preorders for Another Crab’s Treasure are available now.
- Steamworld Heist II will be released for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on August 8.
