Straight from the Electronic Arts E3 press conference comes this video from developer BioWare which confirms not only that they’re developing a new entry in the fan-favorite Mass Effect series but also a brand new IP which they show a brief glimpse of. Here’s what BioWare had to say about the new Mass Effect and their brand new property, which has yet to be fully revealed:
“In the next Mass Effect, you will travel to a new region of space, explore new worlds, and discover new characters. At the same time, BioWare is creating a whole new game, built in an entirely new fictional world that is constantly changing.”
The last entry in the series, 2012’s Mass Effect 3, went on to sell over 5 million copies across four platforms.
