Publisher and developer Dotemu announced that it would be holding an open beta test for its upcoming game Windjammers 2. This beta that will be available to everyone starts this week and will run from August 11 to August 22.

According to the company, the Windjammers 2 open beta will run across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. During the open beta session, players will be able to face off in online ranked play across various courts in the game, including a sandy beach, roaring stadium, rowdy ring, or a towering rooftop complete with bumpers.

The open beta will allow players on the PS4 and PS5 to face off against one another, with Steam users playing other PC players. Four playable characters will be able in the open beta, representing the United Kingdom, United States, Italy, and France. Each player will have its own unique balance of power and speed, complete with their own tricks and throwing abilities as well.
Windjammers 2 is currently set to release sometime in 2021 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
