March is going to be a busy month for C-drama lovers as many anticipated and exciting dramas are coming out next month. From costume dramas to modern love stories, March will have it all. Dramas that are coming out next month include Everyone Loves Me, The Legend of Shen Li, Fox Spirit Matchmaker, Young Babylon etc.
1. Everyone Loves Me
The much-anticipated romance C-drama Everyone Loves Me is all set to meet viewers on March 1, 2024. The drama features popular actors Lin Yi and Zhou Ye in the lead roles. It tells the story of Yue Qian Ling (Zhou Ye), a bubbly and extroverted girl who falls for one of her classmates, Gu Xun (Lin Yi). She tries every possible way to win his heart but he doesn’t acknowledge her feelings. Gu Xun rejects Qian Ling as he is in love with his gaming partner, not knowing that she and Qian Ling are the same person.
Everyone Loves Me will be available for streaming on Youku.
2. The Legend of Shen Li
Tencent Video and Mango TV’s costume drama The Legend of Shen Li will meet viewers on March 18, 2024. It features Lin Gengxin and Zhao Liying in the leading roles. The drama tells the story of Xing Zhi (Lin Gengxin), the god of action. He is the last remaining god. On the other hand, Shen Li (Zhao Liying) is the queen of the devil world. She fell into the mortal world while escaping from her marriage. She had taken the form of a phoenix. What happens when these two cross paths?
The Legend of Shen Li will be available for streaming on Tencent Video and We TV.
3. Young Babylon
In an official statement, Tencent Video has revealed that the modern drama Young Babylon is scheduled to be broadcast in March 2024. It is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Lu Nei. The drama features Neo Hou and Yang Caiyu in the leading roles. Young Babylon explores the story of Lu Xiao (Neo Hao), a goal-oriented individual. He doesn’t want to spend all his life working as a laborer but due to the economic crisis of the 90s, he is forced to take up a job at a factory.
Young Babylon will be available for streaming on Tencent Video.
4. Fox Spirit Matchmaker
According to a statement released by iQIYI and Stellar Picture, the anticipated xianxia C-drama Fox Spirit Matchmaker will meet viewers in March 2024. It is the first part of the series that focuses on the Yuehong Chapter. The drama is an adaptation of Tuo Xiao Xin’s famous manhwa, “Hu Yao Xiao Hong Niang”. It tells the story of Tushan Hong Hong (Yang Mi), a fox spirit who saves Dongfang Yue Chu (Gong Jun). Eventually, they ally and work together to bring peace to the fox realm.
The drama will be available for streaming on iQIYI.
Other than these, The Prisoner of Beauty, Golden Journey, Burning Flames etc. are also scheduled for March release.
