The ongoing romantic C-drama Amidst a Snowstorm of Love released episode 17 on February 11, 2024. The drama features popular actors Zhao Jinmai and Leo Wu as the lead cast. The original broadcasting networks of the drama are Dragon TV and Tencent Video. Amidst a Snowstorm of Love is an adaptation of the web novel “Zai Bao Xue Shi Fen” by Mo Bao Fei Bao. It tells the story of Lin Yiyeng (Leo Wu), a former professional snooker player, and Yin Guo (Zhao Jinmai), a professional nine-ball player. They meet for the first time during a blizzard, and a shy and introverted Yiyeng falls in love with Yin Guo. As they continue to date, they become each other’s motivation.
In episode 17 of Amidst a Snowstorm of Love, Yin Guo visits Yiyeng at his hotel. Yin Guo tells him how much she has missed him, and even though they video call every day, it’s not the same as seeing him in person. Then, the couple share some intimate moments. They also open the gifts that they bought for each other.
Yiyeng gifts her a card that contains the entire prize money he got in his first championship. Yin Guo refuses to take it, but Yiyeng insists, saying that he will make sure to win more championships and save up for the future.

Yiyeng assures her that he will never leave her side. Yin Guo buys heating pads from the pharmacy to treat Yiyeng’s wounded shoulder. She tells him that she fell in love with his pretty face and she can keep looking at it for 20 years.
In episode 17 of Amidst a Snowstorm of Love, Yin Guo tears up when she has to go back. Meng Xiaodong (Wang Xing Yue) arrives at the spot. He is there to take Yin Guo to Bei City. He also invites Yiyeng to join them. Yin Guo shows Yiyeng around the training facility. After spending some quality time with Yin Guo and her brother and after having a hearty meal prepared by Yin Guo, Yiyeng prepares to go back. Xiaodong drops him off at the airport. He jokingly tries to scare Yiyeng, saying that many guys have been chasing Yin Guo.
Yin Guo asks Yiyeng if he will come back again. Yiyeng assures her by saying that he will save enough money so that he can visit her very soon. After Yiyeng enters the airport, Yin Guo breaks down crying.
The next scene takes viewers a year and a half later. Yiyeng is now an International sensation. Yin Guo is anxiously waiting at the airport to meet Yiyang. He did not meet her in the past year as he wanted to save up first. The couple lovingly embrace each other. Yin Guo’s happiness knows no bounds.
