The ongoing romantic C-drama Amidst a Snowstorm of Love released episode 16 on February 8, 2024. The drama features popular actors Zhao Jinmai and Leo Wu in the main roles. The original broadcasting networks of the drama are Dragon TV and Tencent Video. Amidst a Snowstorm of Love is an adaptation of the web novel “Zai Bao Xue Shi Fen” by Mo Bao Fei Bao. Tien Jen Huang and Yu Bo are the directors of the drama.
It tells the story of Lin Yiyeng (Leo Wu), a former professional snooker player and Yin Guo (Zhao Jinmai), a professional nine-ball player. The duo met for the first time during a blizzard. Shy and introverted Yiyeng falls in love with Yin Guo at first sight. As their bond grows, they fall in love and become each other’s motivation. Yin Guo has left snooker after receiving unfair treatment but he decides to pursue his dreams once again for Yin Guo’s sake.
Amidst a Snowstorm of Love Ep 16: Leo Wu makes comeback as a snooker player
In episode 16 of Amidst a Snowstorm of Love, Yin Guo returns to China. Yin Guo is reunited with her friend. Her friend wants to celebrate her victory but Yin Guo has to attend a family reunion. Meanwhile, she spots a fellow nine-ball player talking to a pretty lady.
The lady turns out to be Lin Lin (Ding Xiaoying), a coach from Dongxin City. Lin Lin is also the girlfriend of Meng Xiaodong (Wang Xingyue), Yin Guo’s elder brother. Yin Guo is taken aback by how beautiful Lin Lin is. She texts her brother to tell him about the encounter. But Xiaodong is indifferent.
Yin Guo goes back to her house with her friend. Her friend is worried about how Yin Guo will manage the time difference between her and Yiyeng. Yin Guo’s parents are busy with work and are quite strict. She tells her friend that she is afraid to tell her parents about Yiyeng as he has a stagnant career after getting into trouble with a referee.
Meanwhile, Yiyeng is busy with work. He tells Wu Wei (Dong Zifan) that he plans on renting his place for another year. He also reveals a plan to open chain stores of billiard rooms across the country. Yiyeng mentions that he wants to cultivate new professional players. Wu Wei is surprised when he mentions that he wants to participate in snooker again and win prize money. Wei starts to tear up from happiness.
On the latest episode of Amidst a Snowstorm of Love, Yiyeng and Yin Guo catch up over a call and update each other about their lives. The next day, Yin Guo visits her new club with her friend. She expresses her concern that Yiyeng is about to graduate but hasn’t found any job yet.
Meanwhile, Xiaodong bumps into Jiang Yang (Chen Jingke), who tells him about Yiyeng’s plan to sign up for the competition in Macau. Xiaodong is extremely happy to hear the news but tries to hide his happiness. He decides to book a flight to visit Yiyeng in Macau.
Yiyeng flies to Macau to compete in the tournament. Before the competition, he calls Yin Guo and tells her about his decision. He tells her that he is going to make his life stable for her sake. But he doesn’t mention his match in Macau. Yiyeng gracefully competes and advances to the next round. When Yin Guo hears the news, her happiness knows no bounds.
