Black Butler season 4 episode 4 recap: Ciel tries to learn about Derrick
Black Butler: Public School Arc episode 4, “His Butler, Colluding,” begins with various Weston boys surrounding Ciel Phantomhive. However, later, Ciel expresses how he is miles away from fulfilling his goal. As such, he is a prefect’s drudge’s drudge, who should not be allowed to investigate Derrick’s case.
Later, at Swan Gazebo, Ciel learns about the annual inter-house cricket tournament, which is held on the Fourth of June. However, given the college’s long history with the tournament, it is a grand celebration occasion. Hence, outsiders, including female visitors, are allowed on college premises.
While everyone contributes to the conversation, remarking on their respective views of the event, Ciel carefully mentions how Derrick Arden from Purple House is his friend. Upon hearing the name, all the prefects seem to be on guard, intriguing Ciel. However, others continue with the conversation.
