Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End episode 25 recap

In Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, the saga to tackle Frieren’s clone, among other clones, continues. A fellow mage, Dunnste, arrives and informs the others that he is the only one who remains from Edel’s group. Moreover, Lawine and Kanne arrive and provide insights into the clones, giving mages the hope to defeat them.

Fern announces that she is aware of Frieren’s vulnerability. Upon testing, it turns out to be true, and, hence, Frieren and Fern enter the hall, ready to prevail over Frieren’s clone.

In the middle of the battle, Frieren takes viewers back into the past, through a flashback. There, she approaches Serie, bearing the news that her master, Flamme, is dead. Moreover, Frieren hands Serie a will from Flamme, which Serie tears into pieces.

Later, Serie takes Frieren on a walk to explain why she couldn’t support Flamme’s dream of a world where everyone could use magic. Moreover, the elf also reveals that she could not imagine such a world in the first place: a world where humans wielded the same power as elves.

The episode returns to the present, where Frieren casts Zoltraak on her clone, and Fern prepares to attack the monster. However, before reaching the battle’s conclusion, the episode ends.
