The anime cycle of Fall 2023 will be exciting as Spy x Family is returning with a new season. Recently, the YouTube channel of TOHO Animation released the opening sequence for Spy x Family in preparation for its premiere. In just a few more days, viewers will be able to watch Season 2 of Spy x Family, which is going to trace through Yor’s assassination that fans have been dying to see.

Aside from the YouTube video, the official website for the anime also released its clean and credit-less version of the opening sequence on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Titled “Kurakura” by Ado, the opening sequence for the upcoming season has Masaaki Yuasa in the directorial role. Singer and songwriter Meiyo inked the lyrics and composed the song, while Yoko Kanno arranged and performed the music on the track.

Spy x Family Season 2 will be released on October 7, 2023. Fans will be able to stream the new episodes on Crunchyroll. The latest season will once again see the main cast from the first season reprising their roles, including Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger, Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger, Saori Hayami as Yor Forger, and Kenichirou Matsuda as Bond Forger. For those who aren’t updated with the first season of the anime, they can watch it on Crunchyroll.
As for the official synopsis of Spy x Family, it reads:
“World peace is at stake, and secret agent (aka Loid Forger) must undergo his most difficult mission yet—pretend to be a family man.
