The protagonist of the series is Eren Yeager. His only motivation is to seek revenge on the Titans for taking away everything he cared for, especially his mother. However, the plot takes a turn when he embraces fantasy powers and fights the Titans on their terms.

Berserk is one of the greatest manga out there. The latest anime adaptation of the series which was released in 2017 isn’t that good. However, the original iteration that was released back in the 90s still rules the hearts of several anime fans. The anime is a beautiful adaptation of the Golden Age arc of Kentaro Miura’s manga.

The series delves into the story of Guts, a fearsome mercenary captain of the Band of the Hawk. The protagonist and Hawk stumble upon unspeakable monsters while fighting on the frontlines. The fight sequences are vivid and intricate. Berserk is truly unforgettable because of its amazing characters and philosophical explorations.

Frieren: Beyond The Journey’s End is one of the best anime released in Fall 2023. It stays true to the source material’s quality. This series is a sweet mixture of slice-of-life and fantasy. Rather than focusing on the adventures of the heroes, this series traces around the daily lives of our warriors.

Our protagonist, Frieren is an elf which means she has a drastically longer lifespan as compared to her human companions. Saddened by the death of her friend, she realizes the weight of bonds and relationships.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is one of the most iconic anime series out there. It is adapted from Hiromu Arakawa’s manga of the same name. The story focuses on the world which runs on the law of alchemy. This implies that people can create anything, but they have to give something of equal value in return.

The Elric brothers lose their mother at a very young age. This drives them to experiment to bring her back. However, the procedure leaves Edward without a few limbs and Alphonse lacking a body. To compensate for their actions, these two brothers become the State Alchemists. This series captures a brilliant story of loss, hope, forgiveness, and regret.

Fate/Zero

Fate/Zero focuses on the events that happened prior in the popular anime and visual novel Fate/Stay Night. The series is filled with great action sequences. It traces the adventures that happen while Kiritsugu fights against six others in the Fourth Holy Grail War.

This series became so popular that it got several spin-off installments. One of the most adorable spin-offs features the characters in chibi form as they run a cafe. This is a vast franchise to explore so the fans of this series have a lot to check out.
