Sighting – a supernatural thriller which first made headlines mid-2011 – is presently in post-production under the direction of Tedi Sarafian. The film stars Kristina Anapau (Black Swan), Brendan Fletcher (Freddy vs. Jason), Alexis Cruz (Drag Me to Hell) and Ed Corbin (True Grit). Michelle Rodriguez was rumored to star, but it doesn’t appear she took the gig.
The film – said to be a “found footage” tale – is set against the backdrop of King’s Ransom Winery, one of the most haunted places in America with a long history of bizarre suicides. Six ghost hunters have been given the rare opportunity to conduct a paranormal investigation.
Sarafian penned Tank Girl and gets “story” credit on Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
