Fangoria is putting on a discussion entitled Future Shock: What’s Next in Horror?
The description goes like this: Come join a group of horror experts as they discuss the current shape of the horror movie industry as well as where the industry is heading. The group will touch on recent trends like torture films, zombies, found footage, and remakes. Additionally, they will discuss indie films and how the micro-budget filmmaker can get his or her project out made and out there.
Those on the panel? I’ll be taking the stage and I’m being joined by some amazing colleagues including Brian Collins (BadAss Digest, Horror Movie a Day), Rebekah McKendry (Fangoria), Heather Wixson (Dread Central), Gavin Highnight (FEARnet) and filmmakers Drew Daywalt and Peter Cornwell. Jonathan London is moderating.
