FEARnet Announces Start Date for Adam Green, Joe Lynch’s Holliston

Holliston, from Adam Green (Hatchet, Frozen), makes its official debut on FEARnet television Tuesday, April 3 at 10:30 p.m. ET, with a special sneak preview event hosted by Green and co-star Joe Lynch (Knights of Badassdom, Wrong Turn 2), on Sunday, April 1.  Todd & The Book of Pure Evil makes its explosive second season return on March 13, 2012 at 10 p.m. ET.  Alex House as ‘Todd,’ Maggie Castle as ‘Jenny,’ Bill Turnbull as ‘Curtis,’ Melanie Leishman as ‘Hannah,’ Chris Leavins as ‘Atticus’ and Jason Mewes as ‘Jimmy the Janitor’ all return for the sophomore stretch of the series.

Season two of Todd & The Book of Pure Evil will also be available on FEARnet On Demand, FEARnet’s Free VOD service starting March 14, 2012, with season one becoming available as of March 6.  Holliston will be available on the VOD service as of April 2, 2012.  Both series will have additional content available at FEARnet.com.

Holliston stars Green and Lynch, along with Corri English (Unrest), Laura Ortiz (The Hills Have Eyes), Dee Snider and Oderus Urungus (GWAR).  The regular cast will welcome a bevy of guest stars and celebrity cameos during its first season.  Upcoming guest appearances include:

  • Colton Dunn
  • Danielle Harris
  • Kane Hodder
  • John Landis
  • Derek Mears
  • Bill Moseley
  • Brian Posehn
  • Parry Shen
  • Tony Todd
  • Ray Wise

“Audiences will simply love our spring ‘Twisted Comedy’ line-up,” said Peter Block, president, FEARnet. “We’ve worked tirelessly to find the perfect pairing for ‘Todd & The Book of Pure Evil.’  ‘Holliston’ will have people laughing, cringing, reveling in all of the genre references, and possibly taking misguided advice from the foulest-smelling alien advice-giver ever featured on series television (yes, I’m looking at you, ALF).  I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”

Described by its creators as “The Big Bang Theory meets Evil Dead II,” Holliston shines a light on the post-college life where everything is a struggle, and nothing works out like it’s supposed to, with terrifyingly funny results as Adam and Joe struggle to become big-time horror filmmakers and make ends meet.
