Warner Bros. Reschedules ‘Batman v Superman’ and Schedules DC Movies Until 2020

I think we all knew we wouldn’t come to May 6, 2016 and see Captain America 3 and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice going head-to-head and Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige made it quite clear they weren’t moving the Captain. So when WB announced a series of release dates taking their DC franchise all the way through to 2020 it’s no surprise along with that announcement they moved Batman v Superman back a couple months to March 25, 2016.

Just below are all the dates for the upcoming DC films along with two Untitled WB Event Films, whatever those may be. One of the DC films will surely be the Justice League movie and I’m sure another is Shazam with Dwayne Johnson, but as of now that’s all this is… speculation reserved to be announced at a later Comic Con.

  • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice – March 25, 2016
  • Untitled DC Film – August 5, 2016
  • Untitled DC Film – June 23, 2017
  • Untitled DC Film – November 17, 2017
  • Untitled DC Film – March 23, 2018
  • Untitled DC Film – July 27, 2018
  • Untitled WB Event Film – November 16, 2018
  • Untitled DC Film – April 5, 2019
  • Untitled DC Film – June 14, 2019
  • Untitled DC Film – April 3, 2020
  • Untitled DC Film – June 19, 2020
  • Untitled WB Event Film – November 20, 2020

These dates don’t entirely match up with those that were released earlier, but you can fit them in wherever you may like. One thing is for certain, there are going to be a whole lot of superheroes flying around over the next several years.
