Ferrell and Galifianakis Get into Character for ‘The Campaign’ Political Trailers

The Campaign (August 10) starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis as small-town Southern political rivals was one of my “Top 15 Most Anticipated Movies of Summer 2012” and Warner Bros. launched the marketing campaign for the film today with a pair of Facebook pages and corresponding political trailers for the two candidates.

First there’s long-term congressman Cam Brady (Ferrell) who has just commit a major public gaffe before an upcoming election and as a result a pair of ultra-wealthy CEOs plot to put up a rival candidate and gain influence over their North Carolina district. That candidate is Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis), director of the local Tourism Center.

There political posters and trailers follow.
