Despite my attempts to avoid trailers for upcoming films it is pretty much an impossible task to avoid them all, especially if you are watching the NBA Playoffs as trailers for Star Trek, Angels and Demons and Terminator Salvation can be seen during every commercial break. Granted, those are easier to avoid than those that show prior to films you see in theaters unless you want to close your eyes or run out of the theater, but what you can avoid are clips such as what follows.
Apple has debuted a four-minute clip from Terminator Salvation and even calling it a “clip” is a bit of a stretch since it is really just an extended four-minute trailer that gives away A LOT. Clocking in at 90 seconds of additional footage not seen in a standard theatrical trailer this “clip” tests your limits as to how much of the film you want to have seen, primarily the more spectacular elements.
I haven’t watched it and have managed to avoid most every Terminator Salvation trailer outside of the reel shown at Comic Con last summer and a glance here or there when a trailer shows up on TV. I have high hopes for the film and want to go in as fresh as possible. However, if you want to see as much as you can beforehand don’t let me stand in your way. Check out the four minutes directly below and you can get it in high definition at Apple.
