Russell Crowe‘s 2024-released supernatural horror movie is now available on Netflix. The Academy Award Winner’s The Exorcism can now be streamed on the platform by subscribers, giving them another chance to enjoy it after its theatrical debut.
The movie is helmed by Joshua John Miller. In the movie, Crowe plays Anthony Miller, a troubled actor who replaces another actor after the latter’s mysterious death on set. The official logline reads, “A troubled actor cast in a horror movie sees life imitate art when a series of strange on-set events force him into an increasingly volatile state.”
Along with direction, Miller also wrote the story with M.A. Fortin. The movie also stars Ryan Simpkins, Sam Worthington, Chloe Bailey, Adam Goldberg, Adrian Pasdar, David Hyde Pierce, Tracey Bonner, and Marcenae Lynette.
Further, Crowe also starred in The Pope’s Exorcist, which was released in 2023. However, the two movies are not connected even though they share the same supernatural themes.

This movie received mixed reviews as well, but is widely regarded among horror fans for the actor’s compelling performance. It is based on the actual files of Father Gabriele Amorth and his recollection of exorcisms as the Chief Exorcist of the Vatican. The movie is also available on Netflix.
