Marvel Studios has offered fans an early look at Matt Murdock’s new appearance in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3. A newly revealed costume hints at a darker chapter for the Man Without Fear.
What does Matt Murdock’s new Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 costume look like?
An official look at Matt Murdock’s prison costume has been revealed. The reveal came as the crew received special wrap gifts after principal photography concluded. In the picture, Murdock can be seen with a bare upper body, flaunting his ripped physique. He also wears an orange mask covering the upper half of his face.
The most intriguing details lie in Daredevil’s body. Visible marks of stab wounds with blood oozing out can be spotted. The strapping on both of his hands also looks bloodied, suggesting that our favorite superhero is engaged in a grueling fight in the prison. Such a reveal directly connects Season 3’s storyline to how the previous season concluded. After revealing his secret identity to the world, the Man Without Fear ended up in prison, while Wilson Fisk was also exiled from New York.
Production has wrapped, and crew members continue to share photos on social media. This should come as welcome news for the fans. This means that the product is en route to maintain its yearly release schedule. Several set photos have given a glimpse of a brand new costume that Murdock will be donning in the new season. At first glance, the suit appears similar to the one from Season 2, but closer inspection reveals subtle tweaks to the helmet and boots. The overall costume will also have a more reddish hue this time around.
Apart from Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, the show will also feature Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Finn Jones (Danny Rand), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), and Elektra (Élodie Yung).
Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is scheduled for a 2027 release on Disney+.
