Josh Hutcherson and Martin Freeman are reuniting for a comedy that’s nothing like you’d expect. The stars’ upcoming film drops a whimsical new trailer ahead of its digital debut.
Let’s Love gets official trailer
Let’s Love dropped its official trailer on June 3, 2026. The relationship comedy stars Martin Freeman, Josh Hutcherson, Malin Akerman, and Jess Weixler. Jamie Adams directed the film, which arrives on digital and video on demand on June 9, 2026.
The story follows the cast and filmmakers of a hit romance film. They reunite for a fan event that gets unexpectedly cancelled. The group then spends a weekend revisiting the original filming locations in Wales.
Adams wrote the screenplay with additional material improvised by the cast. The director is known for his improvisational filmmaking style on projects like She Is Love and Black Mountain Poets. Principal photography took place in Wales in 2024 at locations including Cardiff, the Brecon Beacons, Porthcawl, and Dragon Studios in Bridgend.
Cineverse VP Acquisitions Dan Fisher praised the project in a statement. “A sharply self-aware reunion comedy, this film hilariously skewers fame, fandom, and second chances as four former breakout stars descend on Wales chasing relevance — and find far more chaos than a comeback,” Fisher said. The cast also includes Craig Roberts, Richard Elis, Chloé Jouannet, and Mia Carragher.
Tom George and Rebecca Long produced the film through Happy Hour Productions and Boudica Entertainment in association with Principal Film Finance. Igor Princ of Princ Films negotiated the distribution deal.
Audiences know Freeman from Black Panther and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, while Hutcherson rose to fame in The Hunger Games and Five Nights at Freddy’s. Akerman brought her talents to Watchmen and The Final Girls, and Weixler showcased her range in Teeth and The Good Wife.
