Curious if Pressure features a post-credits scene? Helmed by Anthony Maras, the movie is based on David Haig’s play. It centers on General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Captain James Stagg, who are forced to make a difficult call that impacts the course of World War II. They are required to carry out one of the most dangerous invasions in history or risk being defeated in the war. As the movie has been released, many want to know if they need to stay back for a bonus scene.
Is there a post-credits scene at the end of Pressure?
No, there’s no post-credits scene at the end of Pressure.
Generally, makers add a post-credits scene to either solve the existing plot queries or to tease a potential sequel. Some franchises, like Marvel, use it as a way to announce whether a character will return or not in future installments. However, the Pressure appears to be a self-contained story with no loose ends. Moreover, there’s no sequel announced as of yet, and it’s unlikely to get one, as it’s based on a singular play.
In a conversation with AP News, director Maras reflected on the moral of the movie while revealing how it’s relevant to today’s times. He said, “How do you bring your best self to the table to make the decision? How do you have the humility to acknowledge when you don’t know something? And how do you have the wisdom to determine who to trust? … Eisenhower in the end showed that he was a maestro at that.”
Maras added that he particularly loved Andrew Scott’s Stagg character due to his brutal honesty and straightforwardness. “What I love about the Stagg character is he’s someone who feels compelled to tell someone something that they don’t want to hear, that they violently don’t want to but they need to hear. The world needs more of that,” the filmmaker explained.
The cast includes Brendan Fraser, Andrew Scott, Kerry Condon, Chris Messina, Damian Lewis, and Henry Ashton, among others.
