Good News for Molly

Molly and Cody wake up after spending the night together. Molly hopes to go back to her house, but given the severity of the storm, Cody asks her not to. They settle down for a chat. She checks her email and rejoices. She explains to Cody that she had written a novel, which Kristina sent to a publisher without her knowledge. The email said that the publisher loved her story and that she had a big offer on her hands.

Nathan and Lulu Grow Closer

Nathan and Lulu are stranded inside the cafe. Lulu finds alcohol and decides to make the best of it. Nathan discusses his childhood and how his father neglected him. Lulu sympathizes with him and reminds him that he is a good person, and continues to praise him. Nathan appreciates her words and says that he wants nothing but to be the man that Lulu sees him as. He leans in and the two kiss.

Rehashing Old Wounds

Tracy is still stuck at Drew’s house with Martin. The two exchange insults for a long time before she asks Martin why he hates her so much. He reminds her that she ruined his life by sabotaging his relationship with Lucy.

Tracy pushes back, saying that Lucy would’ve eventually cheated on him. Tracy also points out that all his previous relationships were more about lust than love. In return, all the women just wanted his money. Martin then tells Tracy that she doesn’t know anything about true love because she been divorced multiple times as well. However, she admits that trial and error led her to find true love.

Teenage Romance

Charlotte and Danny take shelter at the Quartermain guesthouse. She then texts her mother that she’s safe and that she’s with Danny. The two then warm up near the fireplace and prepare s’mores. They then start having a conversation, which ultimately ends with the two sharing a kiss.

Valentin Heads Into the Storm

Valentin insists that he must go and find his daughter. So, he suits up and heads out. However, Carly later finds him freezing outside and lets him back in. She tells him that she got in touch with Lulu and informs him that Charlotte is safe.

Britt Confides in Jason

Jason finds Britt freezing on the lake and brings her to a nearby cabin. He helps her warm up by covering her with a blanket and sitting near the fireplace. Later in the episode, after seemingly having sex, Britt admits to feeling better. Jason then pushes her to be honest with him. Despite the hesitation, she reveals that she’s being forced to complete her father’s work. Otherwise, they’ll stop her Huntington’s medicine. Jason asks who’s forcing her.
