Who Does Emily End up With in Emily in Paris Season 5’s Ending?

Emily in Paris Season 5 is out, and the ending reveals who Emily ends up with. While it was a rollercoaster of emotions throughout the season, it was either Marcello or Gabriel who was the right choice for her. So, here’s what the ending reveals.

Emily’s partner in Emily in Paris Season 5’s ending revealed

At the end of Emily in Paris Season 5, Emily Cooper doesn’t end up with either Marcello or Gabriel, returning to Paris alone.

In episode 9, “La Belle Époque,” Gabriel had asked Emily to deliver the knives he had left in Paris while he was traveling through the city. Later, the two meet at the station while he waits for his train. After they share a lunch, he reveals to her that he came all the way to Rome just to see her. But after seeing her happy with Marcello, he didn’t approach her. The two depart after admitting that all they want for each other is to be happy.

In the finale, “Veni, Vidi, Venezia,” Emily spots a ring in Marcello’s bag during a Venice dinner. She had hoped for a proposal, but learns that it’s for his brother Nicolas to give to Mindy. However, Marcello wanted Emily to join him at Muratori permanently in Solitano. Emily rejects the offer, saying that her place is in Paris. This leads the pair to mutually break up and pursue their respective interests.

After Emily broke up, Sylvie messaged Gabriel, letting him know that Emily is single. This opens the possibility of the two reconciling in future seasons. On the other hand, Mindy accepts Nicholas’s proposal despite her conflicting feelings for Alfie, hinting at an incoming troubled relationship.

Currently, there is no news about Netflix renewing Emily in Paris for another season. All 10 episodes of Season 5 are now available to stream on Netflix.
