The newest season of one of Netflix‘s most popular international comedy TV shows is now finally available for streaming. The Mexican family comedy series The Manny (El Niñero) has officially returned today with its highly anticipated third season, which consists of eight episodes.
What do we know about Netflix’s The Manny Season 3?
“As Jimena struggles to save her company, her relationship with Gabriel faces a series of setbacks,” reads the logline for Season 3. “Can their love win, or is this the end of the line?”
The Manny is created by showrunner Carolina Rivera and La Granja TV Narrative. The Spanish-language show stars Sandra Echeverría (La usurpadora) as Jimena, Iván Amozurrutia (The Five Juanas) as Gabriel, Diana Bovio (All the Places) as Brenda, Josemaría Torre Hütt (Crown of Tears) as Joaquín, Anthony Giulietti (Silent Night) as Leo, Cassandra Iturralde (Diablero) as Sofía, Alexander Tavizón (Doña Flor y Sus Dos Maridos) as Santiago, Moisés Arizmendi (The Marked Heart) as Rogelio, Eugenio Montessoro (The House of Flowers) as Ernesto, and more.
The series is executive-produced by Fernando Sariñana Rivera. The story takes place in Mexico City and Tepatitlán, Mexico. When the show first debuted in 2023, it received a Popcornmeter score of 80% on Rotten Tomatoes.
“In the series, Jimena juggles trying to keep her life in order. Between raising her three children, competing for the company’s presidency, and dealing with her (almost) ex-husband, she has her hands full,” reads the show’s synopsis. “She then meets Gaby, a charming rancher who unexpectedly turns out to be the best nanny for her children. Unexpectedly, Gabriel and Jimena will fall in love without minding stereotypes about gender roles.”
