How WWE paid tribute to Hulk Hogan on Monday Night Raw

WWE opened the July 28, 2025, Raw at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit with a tribute to Hulk Hogan, who passed away a few days ago. All WWE Superstars appeared on stage alongside Hogan’s son Nick Hogan, his wife, and longtime business partner Eric Bischoff. The screen displayed “In memory of Hulk Hogan: 1953–2025.”

Paul “Triple H” Levesque addressed the audience and spoke about losing one of the most globally recognized icons in wrestling. He recalled watching Hogan growing up, sharing the ring with him, and noted that the industry would not be where it is without him. WWE then held a 10-bell salute as the crowd chanted Hogan’s name.

A tribute video set to the song “Ordinary” by Alex Warren played, featuring highlights from Hogan’s career. Fans in the arena wore Hogan-themed attire and held signs in his honor. Later in the broadcast, WWE aired another video montage with messages from superstars and legends. WWE also announced that all proceeds from the Hulk Hogan Legacy Collection would go to his family. A retro-style Hogan action figure by LJN was made available for pre-order through Target.
