AEW star MJF Breaks Silence on Social Media, Addresses The Rock

AEW star MJF recently broke social media silence to address The Final Boss, The Rock, ahead of WWE WrestleMania 40. Since losing his AEW World Champion title to Samoa Joe at the World’s End pay-per-view in Long Island and being betrayed by Adam Cole, MJF has been absent from AEW television. He had not posted on social media since AEW Worlds End in December but returned recently.

On X (formerly Twitter), The Rock made an offer to purchase a painting by Naomi Rosenblum, who is MJF’s ex-fiancée. The painting depicted his segment with Cody Rhodes from last week’s RAW. This offer came after The Rock and Roman Reigns whipped Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins with a weight belt on a RAW segment. This is similar to what happened between Cody Rhodes and MJF in a segment in AEW in 2020.

MJF responded to The Rock’s offer to buy Rosenblum’s art by posting his first tweet in over three months. He stated that The Rock stole his idea to lash Cody and now attempts to acquire art from his ex. He added that he was a fan but requested that The Rock leave him be.

At WrestleMania 40, The Rock will make his in-ring return after more than a decade. He will team up with Roman Reigns to face Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.

What’s next for MJF in AEW?

MJF was last seen at AEW World Ends, where he lost his world title to Samoa Joe. The shocking revelation came after the match when his best friend Adam Cole was unmasked as the mysterious devil character.

Before AEW World Ends, there was a mysterious storyline involving the devil character, with MJF claiming that his devil mask had been stolen. This led to confusion and chaos in the AEW locker room as the devil attacked various stars. However, MJF insisted that the mask was stolen from him. The revelation of the devil’s true identity occurred at the World Ends.

Since Adam Cole’s revelation as the devil, MJF hasn’t appeared on AEW TV. Reports suggest that he entered the World Ends match with legitimate injuries, including a hip injury and a torn labrum. Currently, both MJF and Adam Cole are sidelined due to their respective injuries. Fans may have to wait until MJF fully recovers before seeing him back in action in AEW.
