Knox Goes Away Trailer Sets Release Date for Michael Keaton & Al Pacino Movie

Saban Films has released the Knox Goes Away trailer for the upcoming thriller movie, which marks Golden Globe winner Michael Keaton‘s second directorial feature after 2009’s The Merry Gentleman.

The video features Keaton as a hitman who discovers that he has dementia. With only weeks left before his disease fully takes over him, he must find a way to save his son from the crime he committed. The film is slated to arrive in theaters on March 15.

What to expect in Knox Goes Away?

Knox Goes Away is directed by Michael Keaton from a script written by Gregory Poirer. Joining Keaton are James Marsden, Al Pacino, Marcia Gay Harden, Suzy Nakamura, John Hoogenakker, Joanna Kulig, Ray Mckinnon and Lela Loren. The film had its world premiere at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival.

“The film follows John Knox, a hit man attempting to make amends before his recently discovered dementia takes over,” reads the synopsis. “Aided by a trusted friend (Pacino) with his own shady past, Knox races against the police — and his own rapidly deteriorating mind — to save his estranged son (Marsden) from a vengeance-fueled mistake and “cash out” before it’s too late.”
