Heroines cast to face masked serial killer in Hellfest
CBS Films announced today that Amy Forsyth (The Path, Rise), Emmy-nominee Reign Edwards (MacGyver, Snowfall), and Bex Taylor-Klaus (Here and Now, Arrow) will lead the cast of Hellfest. The film is set to be directed by Gregory Plotkin (Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension Editor — Get Out, Happy Death Day) and produced by Gale Anne Hurd (The Walking Dead, Aliens).
A masked serial killer turns a horror-themed amusement park into his own personal Halloween playground while three friends (Forsyth, Edwards, Taylor-Klaus) race to save the patrons who believe that it is all part of the show.
“We are going to take audiences on a wild and terrifying ride, and Amy, Reign, and Bex are exactly the talented energetic heroes we have been looking for to face off against our killer,” said Gregory Plotkin.
Amy Forsyth is represented by Gersh and David Dean Management. Reign Edwards is represented by Management 360 and attorney Alex Kohner at Morris Yorn. Bex Taylor-Klaus is represented by Hyperion Talent Agency, Curtis Talent Management, and attorney Patti Felker. Gregory Plotkin is represented by ICM and Circle of Confusion. Phillip Kobylanski is overseeing the project for Valhalla Entertainment. Alex Ginno and Mark Ross are overseeing the project for CBS Films.
Hellfest is set for release on October 12 of this year.
